EMC WATER EATER / EVAPORATOR  Model 120GSS

The Model 120G is a natural gas or propane heated waste water evaporator and the Model 120G-SS 316L Stainless Steel version (tank, floor, lid, covers, and stack are 316L SS).

Typical applications include minimizing wastewater from machining operations, parts washing equipment, compressor condensate, mop water, die cast solutions, and many other water based waste streams. Installation is easy consisting of only a 120V electrical hookup, a 10′ diameter vent stack, and a 3/4′ standard pressure gas line.

The unit can be filled two different ways: (1) Using the supplied 2′ coupling on the top of the unit; (2) Remove the lid and manually pour in fluid; After an initial heat up time of approximately one hour, the Model 120G will evaporate from 15 gallons per hour of water. The Model 120G will automatically shut itself down via a low level control. A secondary high temperature shutoff is also provided. When a cycle is completed the waste material can either be drained or vacuumed out of the unit through the removable lid, with a wet/dry vacuum or pump, or, if it is a solid material, scooped out. To facilitate cleanout, the interior tank of the 120G is sloped towards the 2′ outlet. The ‘U’ shape burner tube is located around the perimeter of the process tank allowing access between the tubes. The water evaporator will automatically shut itself down via a low level control. A secondary high temperature shutoff is also provided. When a cycle is completed the waste material can either be drained via a 2′ drain opening, vacuumed out of the unit through the removable lid, with a wet/dry vacuum or pump, or, if it is a solid material, scooped out.

This machine was purchased from a company that closed up. 2 years of use. I personally sold this to them and it reduced the shop waist and paid for itself in 30 days. He said. They used to remove water from coolant. (There shop DID NOT SMELL LIKE ROTTON COOLANT)

A normal day they would remove 2ea 55 gallon drums filled and have a gallon of actual coolant left over to get rid of instead of 109 gallons of water, he said if someone was feeding the machine sometimes he could 3 55 gal drums. The savings added quickly. They also used this to remove water from the way oil that the skimmer was collecting on the CNC Machines and Grinders.
